What We Do
Fenwick Behavioral Services offers one-to-one support services to youth facing challenges in the Maryland Foster Care system. The program is designed to help youth who are on the verge of losing their current residential/in-home placement and maintain or improve their placement in an effort to help them remain in the least restrictive environment possible. Our primary focus is to assist youth and those responsible for caring for them with overcoming trauma and issues by utilizing strategies that focus on building life skills and positive coping mechanisms. One of our main goals is to assist each child with gaining the tools to manage unfavorable behaviors and potentially become more self-sufficient. We equip service providers to handle crises and problematic situations with the youth in their care. We also provide supervision for supervised visitation arrangements and hospital stays when needed.
Fenwick Behavioral Services is currently prepared to work with 5 to 10 children who have been determined in need of our services.
